While searching Media Bakery, follow a few simple but effective steps to
find the perfect image for your project!
1. First go to Media Bakery’s homepage and enter a few descriptive, simple keywords. If you add to many specific keywords you will limit the results you end up with, so make sure to keep it simple.
For example you are looking for a picture of a cat playing with a ball of string. To begin, enter the basic keywords cat and string in the main search box.
2. After your first search, you will notice that you now have a mixture of photos including some of cats and string; however, some photos of people have managed to sneak there way into your results.
To filter out the options you do not want, you can use the fields on the left hand navigation bar to refine the search.
You can add more keywords, check categories; check no people or how many people, different angles, types of images, etc. In this example we checked, no people and Royalty Free then added the words kitten and studio into the keyword search bar, hit go and instead of many pages of various results, we now have six.
There are many ways to refine your search by utilizing the advanced-search filters tool on mediabakery.com!
3. While you are searching make sure to create a lightbox so you can easily keep track of the photos you are considering.
When you click on the file icon under the photo it will put the image in a lightbox which you can easily see with the preview bar at the bottom of the screen. You can click on view lightbox or view advanced lightbox to see all the images you have selected. You can also email, print, make a pdf and more, all from the same screen!
With these custom features it makes it easier to search, refine, and organize all of your images in one place.
Stay tuned for our advanced lightbox tutorials, as we will give you tips on how to use this feature and narrow down your image selections even further!
