Just came across this extremely interesting article about a girl named Candy who lost someone very close to her and this, in turn, changed her perspective on life. It wasn’t long before Candy got inspired to make her own successful public art project. One day she painted black chalkboard on the side of an abandoned home in her in neighborhood and wrote “Before I Die I Want To…_________”. She left chalk for anyone who wanted to fill in a blank spot on the giant board. The next day the entire board was filled up with people’s hopes and dreams.
This has now become a world-wide phenomenon and is seen outside constructions sites, the side of buildings, etc… How creative is this? So simple, yet so powerful.
